Normes de qualité mondiales Timken
Notre engagement pour la qualité permet de maintenir l’intégrité de la marque Timken et de conserver la confiance que nous accordent nos clients. Nous investissons chaque année des millions de dollars dans la recherche et le développement, la formation et l’amélioration des procédés afin d’avoir la certitude que les clients bénéficient d’une qualité constante des produits Timken, quel que soit le lieu de fabrication dans le monde.
Nos propres normes de qualité mondiales Timken sont appliquées sans exception dans chaque usine fabriquant des produits Timken®. Nous avons également aidé à définir la qualité au sein de l’industrie, en créant des normes pour l’ABMA (American Bearing Manufacturing Association ou Association américaine de fabrication de roulements) et en contribuant aux normes de l’Organisation internationale de normalisation (ISO).

Notre mesure de la qualité
Afin de tenir notre promesse de qualité, nous appliquons un ensemble de processus commerciaux normalisés appelé Timken Quality Management System (TQMS/système de gestion de la qualité Timken). Ce système définit des lignes directrices claires sur les niveaux acceptables et exceptionnels des normes de qualité pour nos clients, nos employés et nos fournisseurs.
TQMS renforce notre valeur fondamentale de qualité au travers de meilleures pratiques ciblées et disciplinées dans l’ensemble de nos procédés de fabrication et de services.
TQMS est basé sur ISO 9000 et incorpore les exigences des clients et les meilleures pratiques de Timken et d’ailleurs. TQMS fournit un cadre permettant d’atteindre la qualité et de la mesurer. Chacun des 21 modules fait l’objet d’un examen annuel en vue d’une amélioration continue, ce qui conduit à des normes plus élevées pour les attentes de qualité minimale alors que nos industries et nos produits évoluent.
