Timken^® Grease

Load, speed, temperature, water exposure and contamination can quickly break down the wrong lubricant — driving premature wear, unscheduled maintenance and unplanned downtime. You need grease specially formulated for the right application that can withstand your operating conditions.

Timken offers a full line of greases formulated for specific duty cycles and environments — from industrial bearings exposed to shock loads and water washout, to automotive wheel ends and rail journal applications. Grease options include:

Industrial Grease

• Premium All-Purpose Industrial Grease: Developed for industrial bearings running at higher-than-average temperatures and shock loading to help protect against rust, corrosion and wear. 

• Construction and Off-Highway Grease: Intended for high-load, low-speed applications. Resists extreme pressures from shock loading and helps protect against rust and corrosion in wet and dirty environments. 

• Ball Bearing Pillow Block Grease: Specifically formulated for moderate- to high-speed ball bearings used in pillow blocks and conveyors. Provides moderately high-temperature lubrication for longer life and corrosion resistance, particularly in saltwater environments.  

• Mill Grease: Formulated for applications where resistance to water washout and performance across broad operating temperatures are critical. Developed for strong corrosion protection and mechanical stability even in the presence of water. 

Automotive Grease

• Automotive Wheel Bearing Grease: Formulated with corrosion inhibitors and anti-wear/water-resistant additives for extremely demanding automotive applications. NLGI GC-LB certified for top-rated performance in wheel bearing and chassis grease categories.

• Performance Racing Grease: Specially formulated for extreme operating conditions of bearings in auto racing hubs. NLGI GC-LB certified and designed for a wide operating temperature range. 

Rail Grease

• Premium Rail Grease: Long-life grease engineered for railroad car wheel journals. Formulated to provide strong protection against water etching. Meets Association of American Railroads (AAR) specification M-942-98.
