Reducing Emissions
Many of our operational efforts contribute to our progress toward The Timken Company’s 2030 greenhouse gas emissions-reduction target. By doubling our capital improvement budget from 2022 to 2023, reducing emissions and choosing suppliers who share our commitment to sustainability, we continue to strengthen our program. We also invest in building our technical problem-solving expertise not only to serve customers, but to advance the sustainability of our own global operations.

Sharing Best Practices
Cultivating an eco-friendly mindset among our employees has contributed significantly to our progress. Plant teams receive training and hold energy and waste walks to help identify everyday savings. They submit ideas for larger efficiency projects that require capital investment. Our Global Energy Council comprises leaders across the company who help us prioritize projects that align with our business strategy and contribute to our emissions-reduction target.
