Richard G. Kyle

Richard G. Kyle is Advisor to the CEO and a board member of The Timken Company. He intends to retire as an employee of the company in February 2025.

Kyle joined Timken in 2006 and served as CEO from 2014 to 2024, helping expand the company’s global industrial leadership to drive increased value for all stakeholders. Under Kyle’s leadership, the company has built scale, entered new product lines, expanded globally and diversified its end markets.

Before joining Timken, Kyle held management positions with Cooper Industries and Hubbell, Inc. He serves on the board of directors of Sonoco, a global provider of consumer packaging, industrial products, protective solutions and display and packaging services.

Kyle was elected to the Timken board in 2013.
