PINION-PAC™ Bearing 

PINION-PAC™ is a ready-to-install, pre-sealed, pre-set tapered roller bearing unit that simplifies axle assembly and improves system performance in light duty automotive applications. Customers rely on PINION-PAC for improved gear reliability and bearing life; reduced noise, vibration and harshness (NVH); reduced weight and fewer warranty claims.

Simplified Axle Manufacturing

The PINION-PAC bearing unit comes ready to install, complete with pre-adjusted bearings and an integral carrier and seal. The design uses a straight axle housing bore, as well as a simple, axially compact pinion stem and can reduce the costs associated with rework by as much as 50%. Since the seal is integrated into the Pinion-Pac bearing unit, the finishing requirements for the companion flange are reduced.
