For in-house shops, the Bearing Certified designation confirms that you have solid processes and the appropriate equipment in place to ensure proper bearing maintenance.
The certification process is done in conjunction with many of our bearing maintenance programs. Prior to your employees being trained, a Timken engineer will conduct a pre-audit. It’s a rigorous evaluation that documents the quality of the processes and equipment you have in place to store, remove, install and maintain bearings.
Following the training, the Timken engineer returns for the post-training audit. Depending on how well your facility scores, you can earn one of several Bearing Certified levels. You’ll also receive actionable information about any recommended improvements.
