This service helps you get the most out of your chock bearings. We disassemble the entire system and clean, inspect and repair all individual components. Then we reassemble, lubricate and store the bearing assembly as required by the customer.

Complete chock bearing maintenance process includes the following:

• Pick up or receive chocks fully assembled from customer location
• Steam clean and degrease the entire assembly
• Disassemble chock completely, inspect all parts and record all information
• Remove bearing, record serial number, load zone and which bearing race is in first
• Clean bearing, inspect all components, polish any minor bruising/damage and record condition information
• Stack bearing, measure and record bench end play
• Check all threaded holes, and clean all lubrication passages
• Provide inspection reports for all components with condition description and dimensions
• Regrease bearing and lubrication passages, if required, with grease provided by customer or Timken approved equivalent
• Rotate bearing load zone, install in chock with opposite race in first
• Record all information
• Reassemble chock accessories, package as required
• Ship chock(s) fully assembled to customer location
