Ronald J. Myers is executive vice president, human resources and an officer of The Timken Company.
Named to his current position in 2015, Myers leads a global HR team charged with creating a workplace where all Timken associates can contribute to challenging and meaningful work that matters. With a strong focus on associate engagement and talent management, he developed a human capital strategy that supports the company’s growth into new regions, product lines and diversified end markets, helping us win in the marketplace.
Under Myers leadership, Timken’s HR team has strengthened talent acquisition, learning and development processes that integrate businesses and drive value across the enterprise. He has also championed and expanded Timken’s associate resource groups to help advance the company’s position and goals surrounding diversity and inclusion.
Previously, Myers served as vice president of organizational advancement. During his tenure he has held various leadership positions of increasing responsibility in the areas of human resources, succession planning, learning and development, continuous improvement and environmental, health and safety.
Myers joined Timken in 1982 as an industrial systems engineering technician.
Myers earned a bachelor’s degree in business management and business education from Baldwin Wallace University and a master’s degree in business administration from Case Western Reserve University. He serves on The Timken Company Charitable and Educational Fund board of trustees.
