Forbes Magazine: Timken named among 100 Most Trustworthy Companies in 2009
American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai Corporate Social Responsibility Award: 2008 finalist.
Automotive News PACE Award: 2008 finalist for our Applied Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) sensor.
Corporate Citizen – Industry of the Year: Presented to Timken-Asheboro, N.C., for corporate citizenship by the Asheboro/Randolph Chamber of Commerce in both 2006 and 2007.
Corporate Citizen Award: Timken honored by the Rotary of Bangalore, India, in 2005.
Frost and Sullivan 2007 Innovation of the Year Award: For innovation in motion control technology for improvements to our magnetic encoder (ASIC).
Outstanding Performance 2008 – Best Supplier Award: Timken India Ltd. Honored by Mahindra & Mahindra with its 2008 Best Supplier Award for outstanding performance.
Overall Supplier of the Year 2008: Awarded to our Canton Technical Center by Clipper Wind Power for delivery and technological innovation.
Plant Engineering Magazine 2005 Product of the Year: For our StatusCheck™ wireless condition monitoring system.
Team NEO Economic Impact Awards: Honored by Northeast Ohio’s Team NEO for financial support and leadership in promoting regional development in 2008.
NorthCoast 99: Named one of Northeast Ohio’s top employers in 2006, 2007 and 2008 for workplace excellence in management, benefits, communication, community partnership, selection and retention of top talent.
United Way Spirit of Caring: Timken and our associates were honored in 2007 for donating more than $1 million to United Way in the United States.
Wuxi Environmental Protection Agency Green Enterprise Award: Our Liyuan Plant in China received the Green Enterprise distinction in 2007.
