Fewer components provide increased accuracy in a smaller space. Timken delivers just that in our threaded bearing cup. The cup is partially threaded so it serves as its own adjustment device, and is partially flat to provide bearing load transfer and piloting. This design makes bearing setting faster, easier and more accurate. Once adjusted, the locking device secures the bearing solidly in place.
