While Timken is a major steel supplier in a wide range of equipment and applications, the unique qualities of Timken steel also make Timken the supplier of choice for many lower volume applications.

From the rolls used in paper mills, to the knives used for meat and food processing, to the fasteners that secure critical nuclear energy generation vessels, there’s a Timken® steel with the right properties to do the job.

To better meet the needs of our customers, Timken has expanded the size range of their products. For tubing, that includes sizes beyond our previous 12"  (304.8 mm) outside diameter limit for some special cases.

For bars, new facilities will enable us to offer products smaller than our previous 1-7/8" (48mm) lower limit. Timken is also growing our capabilities in larger sizes, with sound-center forged cross sections beyond 15" (381mm).

In addition to expanding our size range, Timken is also enhancing quality with better size control and surface quality than ever before.
