Member, Timken Board of Directors

John A. Luke Jr. has been a member of The Timken Company’s Board of Directors since 1999.

Luke is chairman and chief executive officer of MeadWestvaco Corporation, a leading global producer of packaging, coated and specialty papers, consumer and office products, and specialty chemicals.  He has held that position since 2003.

Luke previously held other leadership roles at MeadWestvaco, including serving as chairman, president and chief executive officer.

He serves on the board of directors of The Bank of New York Company, Inc., FM Global and MeadWestvaco Corporation.
