Description: An intensive 15-month training program makes the Associate Engineer an expert in the technical and commercial skills required to solve customer problems. The development program combines classroom and on-the-job training. Training includes knowledge of bearings and other power transmission components, customers’ applications, company business operating philosophies, and sales techniques. Majors: BS in Mechanical Engineering
Location: Initially, Canton, Ohio. Relocation required after training is completed. Sales office locations for assignment after training include Philadelphia, Charlotte, Cleveland, Chicago, Milwaukee, Peoria, Bettendorf, Los Angeles, Pittsburgh, and Dallas.
Project Areas: Solutions Engineers are given total responsibility for their accounts and have frequent exposure to top management. Solutions Engineers are responsible for managing all company interactions with their accounts. Contact with our customers’ organizations occurs at all levels of engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, marketing, sales and management. In addition, the Solutions Engineer handles all commercial negotiations with their customers.
Post Development Program: Associates will be streamlined into one of four areas: Rail, Commercial Transportation Systems, Light Vehicle Systems, Distribution and Services.
