All around the world, the Timken name means expertise in friction management and power transmission as well as product consistency and quality. Occasionally, an unauthorized distributor manages to obtain Timken products and offers the products for sale to unsuspecting customers. We try to prevent it from happening in both unauthorized stores and on the Internet. Unfortunately, we don’t catch everyone. To ensure you receive the quality and service you deserve, only buy from a Timken authorized distributor or a Timken sales representative.

Another way to help ensure you receive genuine Timken products is to use the WBA Bearing Authenticator mobile app.

The unique QR code we are adding to our brand security labels is part of our latest efforts against product piracy. Using the app, you can scan the unique bar code on our packaging label to efficiently distinguish originals from counterfeits. If the result is not positive, Timken is automatically notified. The APP user should also contact their local distributor who will then follow our established reporting procedures.
