Timken's Quality Awards 

Time and again our customers have recognized Timken for consistent quality.  Recent awards include:

 

Toyota – Certificate of Recognition 2012

Toyota Motor Europe presented the Timken Company’s operations in Sosnowiec, Poland with the quality certificate of recognition in support of the mutual quest to achieve continuous improvement and ensure all of its customers are entirely satisfied with their vehicles. Since 2001, this plant has received a number of awards from Toyota.

 

Chrysler – Certificate of Achievement 2011

Two of the company’s operations, Sosnowiec, Poland and St. Thomas, Ontario, Canada, received Chrysler’s Certificate of Achievement in recognition of 2011 outstanding quality performance.

 

Nissan – Quality Achievement Certificate 2011

The Harrison steel plant and the Gambrinus steel plant were recognized by Nissan of North America for the highest achievement among bulk and raw production suppliers based on quality evaluations it conducted.


Clipper Windpower – Delivery, Technology & Innovation, Overall Supplier of the Year 2008
This supplier of wind turbines and manufacturing recognized Timken’s support with technical collaboration and customer service in the areas of delivery performance and packaging changes.

 

Mahindra & Mahindra – Outstanding Performance / Best Supplier Award 2008
Timken’s operations in India were recognized for their outstanding performance on product quality; engineering and service support; and delivery performance by the Mumbai, India-based company of M&M where Timken has been supplying bearing for over 10 years.  Timken was chosen from among 70 companies.

 

Remy-Inc. – 2007 Quality and Zero Defects Award

Timken’s operations in Mexico were recognized for their quality efforts by Remy Inc., a global manufacturer and remanufacturer that sells products primarily under the Remy Delco brand.  Remy supplies original and aftermarket electrical and drivetrain components for the automotive industry.

 

AISIN AW – 2006 Technical Award

The Japanese supplier of automotive components recognized Timken’s support in developing the rear-wheel drive B-800 transmission for use in the Toyota Tundra pickup.
