Without proper lubrication, most bearings will quickly overheat, with potentially disastrous consequences. Too much lubricant can be almost as problematic as not enough lubricant.

In this course, you will learn basic lubrication concepts. Then you will explore the various types of lubricants, primarily greases, available for bearings. You will also be exposed to Timken greases and automated lubrication devices.
